Who is Shimi Cohen?
Shimi Cohen is a cybersecurity professional and the founder of Shimi’s Cyber World.
With deep hands-on experience across the cybersecurity landscape, Shimi built SCW out of a genuine need — a place where real practitioners can connect, share knowledge, and stay ahead of the threat landscape without the noise and marketing that floods the industry.
What started as a passion for helping others in the cyber community grew into one of the largest independent cybersecurity ecosystems — connecting professionals, companies, and startups through real content, real tools, and real discussions.
Shimi believes that the best security knowledge should be open, accessible, and community-driven — not buried behind paywalls or diluted by marketing. That belief is the foundation of everything SCW does.
